Lexington

Hunter is a native of Versailles, KY where he grew up working alongside his mom, dad, and twin sister in their 5th generation family business. Through this experience, he formed the "plan, adapt, and prosper" attitude of mind. Hunter’s focus is to help his clients plan a solid financial foundation, adapt to market changes and major life events and set realistic goals to prosper along the way.

Originally from West Virginia, Gena came to Lexington in 1990 after graduating from Marshall University with a BA in Criminal Justice. She served as a member of the Lexington Police Department from 1990 until 2001 where she rose in rank to become the Sergeant of the Domestic Violence and Crimes Against Children Unit. 

Spencer is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Dunbar High School. Following High School, he attended Asbury University obtaining a biology degree with chemistry minor and received the biology department award along with Magna Cum Laude honors upon graduation.  After graduating from Asbury University, he attended UK Medical School and received a medical degree upon graduation.  

Originally from Massachusetts, Jill came to Kentucky in 1995 and embraced the Lexington community. She has volunteered with many non-profit organizations including God’s Pantry, Explorium, Cystic Fibrosis, S.T.A.I.R, the Lexington Children’s Theatre (Board Member), the Woodford Theatre and was previously employed at the Lexington Ballet (3+ years) and LexArts (3+ years) in business development. At LexArts, she worked on the annual Fund for the Arts campaigns and the Workplace Giving Manager as well as special events including Horse Mania, Horse Play for E

Sarah Hoffman is the Branch Operations Manager for Keystone Financial Group (KFG).  A native of Danville, KY, Sarah began her career in the financial industry in 2003 as branch office administrator with Edward Jones Investments.  During her five years with Edward Jones, Sarah played a vital role in developing the #1 office in Central Kentucky for client satisfaction and service.  She is responsible for administering the firm’s day-to-day activities.

KFG would like to thank Susie Henderson for her dedicated service to our clients and our team.  Susie will be taking on her next journey, retirement, effective August 31, 2018.

Toby Jenkins is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who has been working in the financial industry since 1997. He is a fee based advisor, experienced financial planner, and Principal of Keystone Financial Group. His client base consists of pre-retirees, retirees, business owners and professionals. Toby specializes in wealth accumulation, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Mike Kretz is a co-founder of Keystone Financial Group (KFG), a comprehensive wealth management firm located in Lexington, KY.  He obtained his degree in Economics from Centre College and began his career working as a financial advisor for Edward Jones in 2001.  He left Edward Jones in June of 2008 to start KFG with his two business partners.  Mike holds his Securities Series 7 through LPL Financial and, 63, and 66 registrations through LPL Financial and Keystone Financial Group.

Gary is originally from Montana and moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky.  He received a B.A. in Finance and was 2 year team captain for the University of Kentucky Rugby Team.
